“We were going to be respectful of our football team.” They show respect for the team by showing disrespect for the nation. These (many but not all) thugs make million playing a game. Working men and women buy tickets to see them play. This is more than a protest of police behavior. Kaepernick is a fan of Fidel Castro. It is all part of the left wing attack on traditional America.

Ironic, since Castro was so proud of his European background that he said it was worth being the illegitimate son of two white Spaniards than to have married parents of different ethnicities.
Castro’s Cuban army is one where the officers are white, the sergeants mulatto (Batista), and the private soldiers are black.
Kaepernick like Obama has one white parent so I guess it doesn’t matter much.
