Begs the questions: Will the NFL players and coaches continue to “protest” during the singing of the anthem and display of the flag and insist it has nothing to do with disrespect of the anthem or flag? And will they do it all season?

I am sure Costas is sincere but he is committing hari kari. Ratings are tanking due to the national anthem protest (blue state libs don’t watch as much football). After yesterday I expect the ratings slide will continue, which would then put Costas out of a job like all the other highly paid guys at ESPN.

I think the Trump/NFL flap serves more than one purpose. It puts NFL in the doghouse where they belong and no-one is paying attention to a few other things he’s doing right now.
I read a story where a black rapper producer thought that blacks were 40% of our population and that LGBT were 25%. I’ve been doing an informal survey and it is amazing that most I have asked get close to those numbers! When I tell them it is 14.4 and less than 5% respectively they are shocked.
