My point is a rule from years ago that my siblings and I came to observe: `If it looks bad, don’t eat it; if it tastes bad, spit it out.’
It was inspired from an unpleasant dinner experience involving: liver with onions, brussel sprouts and spinach with vinegar sauce. (shudder)
My poor Mother was mortified by the behavior of her normally well-behaved children, but these odious things disappeared from the Dice table.
