As part of a wave of protests throughout the NFL in the wake of President Donald Trump's NFL-related comments, the Steelers will not be on the field for the playing of the national anthem before their game against the Bears on Sunday.
Coach Mike Tomlin told CBS his team would remain in the locker room for the playing of the Star-Spangled Banner.

Face it. This is a clash of values. Most of the black players in the NFL do not share the values, style and insights of their predominantly male white fans. The blacks have easily become pawns of the Left. This country, like it or not. is divided. There no longer exists common emotionally unifying values to unite the country. The NFL is not the only institution to crack.
And fans will still show up and buy season tickets.

Here's how: there aren't enough Leftist American Football fans in this country to save the NFL.
Thus, the NFL will continue to bleed money until it fails, and then a new league will be formed which doesn't permit such shenanigans. The NBA already does this.
Well, one thing the left cannot stand is to see how shallow support for their cause is.
When stadiums are empty and people avoid watching in droves it affects revenue. We will see how committed to the cause these leftists are when it impacts their cash flow.
Kind of like the media going all out for Hillary and falling short; their power was not as total as they thought.

Agree with you completely. I stopped watching the NFl six or seven years ago. I stopped watching college ball for or five years ago.

Baseball is full of players from the Dominican Republic, who show a hell of a lot more respect for this country than these NFL punks do.
Take a look at the declining viewership and do the math as far as the cost of ad buys.

Just saw Fox Sports all come out for freedom of speech.
Trump opposes freedom of speech for NFL players.
The Left opposes freedom of speech for Universities, colleges, highschools, ESPN.
