What are they? Is there a name? Seems everyone is scared to say it. Tetracycline works well as a broad spectrum antibiotic.
“Doxycycline is an antibiotic that is used in the treatment of a number of types of infections caused by bacteria and protozoa. It is useful for bacterial pneumonia, acne, chlamydia infections, early Lyme disease, cholera and syphilis. It is also useful for the treatment of malaria when used with quinine and for the prevention of malaria. Doxycycline can be used either by mouth or intravenously.”
Have you noticed that recently drug manufacturer TV commercials have started showing all the dire consequences/side effects that can occur from taking their product?
It’s easy to stock up on antibiotics outside the US. Multi-spectrums may still require a doc visit, but basic basics like amoxicillin are otc. We cruise often and rotate our stock regularly.
