Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said in a statement on Friday that he will oppose the Graham-Cassidy Obamacare repeal bill. McCain’s vote against Graham-Cassidy effectively tanks renewed efforts to repeal Obamacare.

I cannot in good conscience vote for the Graham-Cassidy proposal. I believe we could do better working together, Republicans and Democrats, and have not yet really tried. Nor could I support it without knowing how much it will cost, how it will effect insurance premiums, and how many people will be helped or hurt by it. Without a full CBO score, which won’t be available by the end of the month, we won’t have reliable answers to any of those questions.

McCain provides cover for other republicans to support the bill.
Even a fatal brain cancer can't persuade him to dispense with his immense ego long enough to do the right thing and retire and spend his final months with his family and friends (assuming he still has any).

I have so many interesting and wonderful friends. One a titan of an up and coming business. They noted, yes the markets are smoking, but a lot of the Trump Surge is because of the reduction in regulations, but....
Business is worried, and I asked them would you expand if Obamacare ( Graham-Cassidy isn't perfect but let that go) is changed and you get a 15% Corp Tax? the answer was "Oh hell Ya", in fact, I think business is counting on it.
People forget, Getting rid of Obamacare is the Foundation, Trump is the builder, this is really important to fix 1st of all.
What Senator McCain did was the Italian Salute and a giant "Up Yours" to making this economy an absolute dynamo that would make Reagan smile ( the totality of all PDJT's efforts ) not to just President Trump, but all of us.
That was wrong Senator, and frankly how dare you screw with our future, more importantly, our kids and grand kids future...

This is such great news. This bill sucked wind. horrible adoption of Obamacare. That is not what we want. We want free enterprise !! It IS poor legislation, but even Levin came out and supported this bill as at least a start of decentralization of Obama-McCain Care.
