More Medicaid money *and* Alaskans continue to get some sugar back from the IRS to help pay for their insurance that the rest of the country, apart from Hawaii, would not. In essence, writes Peter Suderman, they would be attempting to bribe Murkowski to vote to repeal Obamacare by letting her state keep Obamacare. Hows that for PR for the GOPs new bill? Their new system is such an improvement over the old that they couldnt pass without guaranteeing Alaska that it could keep the old one.
Murkowskis sure to go for it, right? Maybe not. This isnt the first time this year a Kodiak Kickback has been whispered about. She didnt like the idea when it was broached in June:

You and I agree on the last name, but I think it should have been Todd with his Blue Collar background, and I have been saying this for quite a while. If this year is as Trumpian as I think, the likes of "Todd's" running in the future nation wide is not out of the question.
Why not try to get Senator Rand Paul’s vote by creating a much better piece of legislation that really does repeal and replace ObamaCare? ObamaCare should of been repealed and replaced, already! The RINOS are blocking much needed reforms, on a variety of issues, on purpose, in order to try to ruin Trumps’ presidency.
