I had not seen it was a pool fence. A downed pool fence is a life-safety concern and it is essential such gets fixed ASAP with immediate steps being taken to mitigate the hazard. The article from Reason is a bit misleading.
6 hours after a hurricane?
Some people are not even allowed to go home from the shelters in place!! I mean for real dude.
Not only that but do you really think that 6 hours have the hurricane hit that lowes or home depot would be open? What if their fence was like gone?
I can see giving them a ticket two weeks from now or even a month but 6 hours????
