Earlier this week CNN reported what radio talk show host (and former Justice Department official) Mark Levin revealed in March, that secret FISA court orders had been implemented during the Obama Administration to wire tap Paul Manafort. Mediaite then pointed out that the former Director of National Intelligence under President Obama, James Clapper, had unequivocally denied the existence of any such FISA wiretap during an interview on Meet the Press:
James Clapper was the Director of National Intelligence overseeing the surveillance and intelligence gathering of seventeen different government agencies. He has correctly asserted that if there was a FISA order to wiretap an American citizen he would know about it. CNN has now confirmed that the FBI had just such an order to monitor Paul Manafort. This leaves us with only a handful of conclusions.
CNN’s reporting is completely wrong resulting it possibly one of the most high-profile journalistic blunders of our time

The FBI under James Comey’s direction and under President Obama’s control conducted covert, renegade surveillance of American citizens without the appropriate oversight or constitutional checks and balances at such a high level that even the Director of National Intelligence was kept in the dark.
Either way, we either have a very sick man in James Clapper, or we have a scandal brewing that could shatter the media’s love affair with the Obama presidency. If they’d only have half an interest in pursuing it.

Clapper should be prosecuted immediately. Sessions will not do it. Appoint a special Counsel into the entire unmasking. We will find out if Clapper knew and was complicit or the more nafarious, Obama/Rice avoided FISA and just tapped whomever they wished. Either way major crimes were committed. Trump needs to act. His AG is worthless.

Right, this jackass was so smart that he uttered provable lies when he knew the proof easy easy to find. If you watch the segment with Tony Shaffer last night on Dobbs, he has come out to publicly announce that Clapper was the epitome of an empty suit. My personal opinion is that Clapper couldn’t find his arshe with both hands tied behind his back.
Just wait until Sessions wakes up. He’ll be right on this.

Someone please wake up AG Sessions and have him order the FBI To arrest Clapper, Samantha Power, Susan Rice and every other Obama official who broke the law.
One of the last things that Obama did was say that all these "spy/legal" government entities could share information.
So all we need is the one person who knew "from the beginning".
Manafort did not affect the election by emailing a Russing billionaire about the Trump Campaign’s briefings. How would that change the results of the Election? The person never replied to the email.
This must be pursued by the opposition media relentlessly.
This whole mess effectively makes it impossible for the U.S. Justice Department to prosecute any of the people targeted by the surveillance. I wouldn't want to be Paul Manafort right now with all the legal troubles he may be facing, but I'm sure he can rest a little easier when he knows he can drag half of Washington D.C. into a courtroom as defense witnesses if he ever faces prosecution for even so much as unpaid parking tickets.
There may not be a single scrap of evidence collected against Manafort that may ever stand up in a court of law.
