I’ve checked the NHK page for Japan news a few times in the last three hours, and not a peep about this, so this must be a nothing-omusubi there. OTOH, zbigniews at NHK is PM Shinzo Abe saying the time for talk with the NORKs has passed, which for a Japanese leader is strong stuff.
Why worry? It achieves nothing but heartache. We're overdue for an earthquake in Cascadia near Seattle. Same goes for the Hayward fault through Oakland. Then there's Yellowstone volcano to worry about. The New Madrid earthquake zone near the Mississippi River could wreak havoc. Mt. Lassen volcano in the Cascade Range could erupt. Like I said, why worry. One of these things is bound to happen sometime, and if it does, then worry about it.
Ha!!!
Dang. I slept through it.
