McMaster: Trump better without Bannon, others who pushed their ‘own narrow agendas’

National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster said Sunday that President Trump’s United Nations speech will focus on promoting and protecting American prosperity and suggested that the White House’s National Security Council is better after having removed adviser Steve Bannon and others who pushed “their own narrow agendas.”

“The National Security Council, I think, has served the president well in bringing him multiple options. There were some who tried to operate outside of that process for their own narrow agendas. And that didn’t serve the president well,” McMaster told “Fox News Sunday,” in response to questions about his policy clashes with Bannon.

Just sent the following email to the White House.
(The link to the WH is below)

Dear Mr. President,
Millions of us campaigned on social media — HARD — for you, voted for you and encouraged those around us to do so!

Why? Because many of us considered you our last, best hope to hold off the tyrannical dark forces of the deep state bureaucrats, the establishment elites and their intelligence organizations (i.e. THE SWAMP) and preserve some semblance of AMERICA — the IDEA — left us by the Founders. If The Swamp succeeds, future generations — at least those who survive their government school INDOCTRINATION — will justifiably curse us all.

Mr. President, you may not yet realize that you are being isolated from the very folks — and LIBERTY BASED IDEAS — that put you in office. You may be too close to that problem to see it. We see it and are terrified as we contemplate the outcome.

Rather than prattle on further, I have attached a link to an essay laying out SOME of the problem you face. If this email survives your new gate keepers — and that’s a HUGE “IF” — please read it to better understand that instead of DRAINING THE SWAMP, you are in the process of DROWNING in it!

Respectfully,
Dick & Sharon Bachert
PS: And you might ask General McMaster why he’s cashiering YOUR supporters while protecting — and promoting — the Obama holdovers in the Intel agencies?

F-you, McMaster, the Trump nationalist agenda is not “narrow” and is not personal to Steve Bannon only. It is the demented GLOBULLIST agenda that does not belong in the Trump admin.

"Narrow agenda"? It's the agenda that Trump ran on, and it's the agenda his supporters voted for. What we didn't vote for is McMaster, Mattis, Kelly and a bunch of Koch brothers hacks who tell us we need to have a conversation about what a wall actuall is. I voted for the interests of the American people, not the interests of the US Chamber of Commerce.

Wow. There sure are a lot of people who hate this McMaster dude on this site. I still think it is wise to have Bannon where he is now. It gives Bannon more freedom to say anything he wants while continuing to have the president’s ear. As for this former general, I hope it works out as I want this presidency to work.

Good afternoon.

“And I like it when Democrats are in the White House.”

When democrats occupy the White house they benefit from a friendly msm, an activist academia, and a cheerleading Hollywood.

F’em all.

Mcmaster is an anti american globalist dirtbag. A typical army clown. Why trump puts up with this arrogant, pompous, condescending piece of garbage is beyond me. But then again he keeps ole sleepin jeff sessions, dirtbag marc short, cohn, etc etc.

We agree on something. There was a much better way. Bannon could have said that the dirty, lawless Comey needed to be fired; Trump was 100% justified in firing him, and Sessions needs to be fired also for the incompetence (at best) that directly gave us the equally dirty, biased and out-of-control Mueller.

McMaster and Jvanka globalists are derailing Trump agenda on Climate Change; DACA; border wall; and tax reform. These asses need to be railroaded or else Trump is a a certain one-term president. Expect more MAGA hats to go up in flames.

That would be the "narrow agenda" of the people who elected him, and not those of the people who are trying to hijack his win for their own agendas?

Hope this doesn’t provoke Captain Obvious, but general officers do tend to be globalists who see the world not as an aggregate of nations, regions, spheres of influence or sources of danger to our national interests, but rather as theaters of operations headed by major commands led by G.O.’s such as themselves.

Theater commanders naturally try to expand their domains with additional units, manpower, and funding. Personal ambition plays a key role, in my opinion.

Not many isolationist generals in the system. Nor, come to think of it, are there major commanders who truly believe in going in to utterly destroy the enemy & his will to resist, then getting out (rotating the same units in & out of theater doesn’t count).

Being “the world’s policeman” does not go against the grain of top level strategic thought. It is my view that senior officers like McMaster are not an aberration from the military system.

On the other hand, “Mullah” McMaster’s unmistakeable anti-Israel stance needs much more exposure & discussion. It runs deeper than “let’s not alienate the Muslim world”, I believe.

They aren't. They are school trained that way.

Peruse the US Army War College faculty bios and published works and your assertion will be confirmed.
