I'm glad you asked that question.

This article is particularly interesting because the kid had read [commander of SEAL Team Three's Task Unit Bruiser] Jocko Willink's book, The Way of the Warrior Kid and was applying it to his life.

If you read the reviews of that book (link above), you will find that it is changing the lives of countless kids who start exercising, getting disciplined, and getting tough.

That's how kids can become winners instead of snowflakes.

This young lad exemplifies all that is good in America, indeed, good in mankind. A shining example of individuality and work ethic that all, young and old, would be well-served to follow.

That's worth sharing.

Simon Murray's chronicle of his time in the French Foreign Legion, Legionnaire, was the book the fired me up in high school—found in the school library, of all places!
