My ex has fibromyalgia, FRiend. It is as real as the clothes on your back. Same with Lyme disease, I have a friend that can’t even DRIVE anymore because it has ruined her co-ordination and strength.

Give ‘em hell, Harry! Fibro is real. Have known two with FM and both remain productive by managing their symptoms/disease. One kept her home a House Beautiful, went dancing, and worked at two part time jobs, and kept herself looking beautifully coiffured and trim. She has since passed away due to stroke. The other is creative - she spins her own yarn from wool for knitting and crotcheting articles and clothing for her home, friends, charties, etc. She is also legally blind. Neither one complains or dwells on it, it was not until I was diagnosed with RA that they shared their experience with FM and how they manage their time and activities.
