If Irma is the power of allah, why do most muslims live in shtholes.? Why are so many illiterate? Why do they want to leave their loser country and come here? This so-called “power of allah” doesn’t seem to give much of a damn about muzzies.
Given the general sinfulness of humans everywhere and at all times, it’s logically consistent to take the view that all disasters are aimed at clobbering us for being bad. (That is not my view, but it’s a defensible one.) However, the idea that bad things are always God punishing the people I don’t like is hard to defend.

If these were “Christian” posts about some great natural calamity in some Muslim majority country, invoking ideas that G-d was bringing the calamity on the “enemies of Christ”, both Google, Instagram and Facebook would have the accounts and links to them deleted as “hate speech”.

If we could have dropped a JDAM on anyone who was dancing in the street or voicing support in any fashion whatsoever for what happened on 9/11, I would have been just fine with that.
