The Trump Justice Department has once again cleared former IRS senior executive Lois G. Lerner of criminal liability stemming from the tea party targeting.
In a letter to top Republicans, Assistant Attorney General Stephen E. Boyd said they re-reviewed the case and concluded there isn’t enough evidence to charge Ms. Lerner, who was at the center of the targeting. Mr. Boyd said the new review included lawyers who only recently joined the department and weren’t part of the Obama administration’s earlier decision.
“After this process, the Department determined that reopening the investigation would not be appropriate based on the available evidence,” Mr. Boyd said.
He said if new information comes to light, the decision could be revisited.
Republicans on Capitol Hill called the decision “terrible.”

What I want to know is did he decide not to prosecute before he looked at any evidence? Not that he actually looked at any.

Who are you referring to? The information I provided pointed to a deal being cut to let Lerner off in exchange for her testimony that Koskinen had done something dirty.
While true that no testimony was needed to can Koskinen, Mueller was waiting in the wings to charge Trump with Obstruction of Justice should Trump fire Koskinen. Because Mueller wanted to sniff into Trump’s IRS records.
As I posted, Lerner is HATED and deserves punishment but she can’t hurt Trump now, she’s gone.
Whereas, Koskinen is still there ready to cause trouble with Mueller by his side.
So set the stage with charges against Koskinen, then fire him. Mueller can’t claim Obstruction for firing a dirty commissioner.

I want someone that is universally despised by senators. Then you know we have a good pick.
I had high hopes for Trump but I think the swamp is just too deep, dank, and dangerous.
What I think happened is Trump intended to follow through with his campaign promises and weed out the corrupt, prosecuting traitors.
But on or shortly after January 20th he walked into the Oval Office greeted by one or more nondescript spooks who had a talk with him.
Think about it, nearly every politician in DC are corrupt liars, and some strong evidence that quite a few are guilty of ordering one or more “suicides” and covering up deaths of interns, hookers, assistants, friends, etc. Honestly, what can one man do against that?
It will take more than an election to clean the swamp. It’s the people’s responsibility. We should, but at this rate by the time we have the will and stomach to wade deep, we no longer will have the means to.
Good point. It is odd for a prosecutor to “declare” someone is clear from charges. Might be a sign she is singing?
Trump needs to do one thing.
He needs to start collecting evidence on every single politician, all the dirt, all the proof he can get of treason, all the shady garbage, and all the bad stuff they have done to us.
Then give it to the people.
Let us deal with them.

It comes from a very good source. It came out when the source was trying to calm people that were reacting with anger, disbelief, and disgust when it crossed the newswire that Lerner had been cleared.

This thread seems to tilt your hypothesis towards fact...Do you have any concrete evidence? Why do you think this will happen?
Rather than simply clearing her of charges, why wouldn’t a deal be proffered? With terms?
