Let this be a lesson to the people who insisted that Houston could evacuate with only 48 hours notice of Harvey.

No matter what people think about the highways out, they forget about the twisted tangle of side streets that get people from their homes to the highways. I know people who spent hours just going two blocks during the Rita evacuation.
