Why is it that big city mayors are almost always completely ignorant of facts, incapable of logic, and unable to learn anything about science, economics, energy, human motivation, etc.? Is it they’re too arrogant to believe they don’t already know everything or is it that they’re truly representative of the electorate in big cities? Or maybe both.

Don't hurricanes occur during hurricane season or am I wrong? No. They never had hurricanes until President Trump.
These people are delusional.

There’s a direct correlation between solar minimum and hurricane frequency and strength.

Oh there is climate change alright but when you add the stipulation of man made climate change then you are entering an area you cannot prove. We know there was heating and cooling of the Earths atmosphere long before man was driving cars.

Shut your pieface. The last thing we need now is more of this political bilge, lying to people in harms way. The Democrat party is so sick there is no hope for them.
Actually, he's one of the few big city mayors in the country who is a Republican.
I don't agree with the guy, but I can understand somebody in a time of great strain and stress saying something like this.
So long as he does his job now, that's enough.
Maybe he'll manage to get things done in the next few hours that are more important than all the commenting and quibbling is.

Yep, you don’t know what is, Regalado. Hack.
Idiot playing politics in the middle of a crisis. What an ass.

Miami mayor, what about the 1938 Long Island Express huricane, which was a Cat 4 as far as New England? What caused that horse powered SUVs?
Another storm that was more powerful was the Great Colonial Hurricane of 1635 and what caused that? Europeans exploring New England?

Maybe they've spent too much time lolling in the south Florida sun:
TV News Reporter: "What happens if you go to a shelter, and it's full, and you can't get in?
Miami-Dade Police: "If you can't get into a shelter, the best thing to do is to hunker down and do the best you can."

So, those 15,000 years of other hurricanes were wrong.

Mayor Tomás Regalado is correct: he
does not know what "climate change" is!
And he -- "Republican" or not -- is -- like the vast majority of liberals: "Stuck on Stupid!!!"
