Trump is a great president. He wants to get things done, and can afford to appear magnanimous.

A very good way of expressing what’s going on. “Master of the Dog and Pony show of politics.”
People who don’t look at the nuances miss this completely. Trump lives in a messy world filled with real people who are complex not party labels. If he can work with this Senator he will build a bridge. He’s building as many bridges as he can on both sides of the aisle jockeying into position to get legislature passed for the American people. It’s a process not an on off button.
The labels, (Democrat, Republican), are a poor reflection of ideology at this point anyway. Who could think of Paul Ryan as a Republican in the strict definition?
In Trump’s world it comes down to individual people not labels just like in mine.
