Yep, and a USGS spokesperson on Fox a couple minutes ago says it has been further upgraded to M8.3. They’ll probably settle on a magnitude by morning.

Wow. At 8.1, NBC is reporting that it is the biggest quake to hit Mexico in a century.

And then we have Irma, one of the most powerful hurricanes ever recorded, projected over Florida:

And still dealing with Harvey, with record setting rain of 50" or more, shattering all weather records:

And 1,500 earthquake "swarm" events over Yellowstone as of August, with even more quake swarms in places like Oklahoma over the past year. Yellow's stone molten lava "lake" is massive (see below):

I’ve been following scientists that are saying that we are in the early stages of a Grand Solar Minimum. Sun is throwing off flares as it winds down in the next minimum cycle. I’m no scientist - just a curious old lady - but it sounds like a repeat of what happened during several of the last solar minimums during the middle ages and the late 1700’s/early 1800’s. Earthquakes, hurricanes, volcanoes. Still, a natural and cyclical event. Also colder temperatures.
