I’ve mentioned it on other threads but after Katrina (nearly 6 weeks after) my parents power was restored by a truck from Wyoming. And my parents live about 150m from the GOM.

They do.They have men come in from Florida to go out on storm from PA.Not this time.They stayed home to take care of their Families and Houses.

Florida Power and Light isn’t Southern, it’s NextEra. (Gulf Power that serves the Panhandle is part of Southern.)
