She's in zone B.

I believe they called for some evacuations in Zone A so far. I would consider going to a shelter, of which there are many in the Tampa Bay area. Getting in a car and driving east with the size of the storm seems problematic, and good luck going north.

FWIW, my niece and hubby had good luck going north via Route 19 out of the Tampa area. That was yesterday. It took twice as long as normal, but there were services along the way. She might want to check in to that if she’s headed for Alabama. I think Rte. 19 (it’s Rte. 98, too) connects with I-10 in Tallahassee.
