To apply for citizenship, legal immigrants must be green card holders and must have that status for five years before applying for citizenship. DACA is a legal limbo, not an official green card status. It is a deferred deportation status.
They can’t apply.
DACA was an intermediate step by Imam Obama to put kids or singles here and then in the future the pressure would be to have their families follow. bring in 100,000 and get 500,000 ten years later.
