I read the Art of War a long time ago, before I found myself in the Army Infantry. I was somewhat surprised then when I saw a plaque on the wall of my battalion’s war room that said: “Destroy the enemy, not his plans”. The difference between eastern war fighting philosophy and western war fighting philosophy was immediately clear to me. I think maybe there is a time and a place for both philosophies.
Kim is a puppet. Who is the puppeteer? Force them into the open. A dead Kim - inexplicably dead of course - might further that.
