A source with knowledge of the situation said Gorka did indeed resign — but only after being informed on Friday by White House chief of staff John Kelly that his security clearance had been revoked, which would have made it impossible for him to continue in his White House job. Gorka was on vacation at the time and due to return on Monday. Instead, after hearing from Kelly, he submitted his resignation.

Reportedly, Susan Rice and Hillary Clinton still have security clearance, but the Trump admin revoked Gorka's clearance like a lightning strike.
The good news is that the Trump admin can act fast when they want to!

Rice keeps hers and Gorka loses his? Are you f’n kidding me? If this is true can someone explain WTH is going on here.
He has a pending gun charge holding up his clearance. In that job, no clearance, you’re useless.
And the reason for revoking it was...? Inquiring minds want to know. Was it a legitimate concern or just a way to get rid of him?
The implications of this if true are quite discouraging.

I like Gorka, but to me he seemed completely out of place in the White House. His official title was something like “Deputy Advisor to the President,” and he really functioned as a TV spokesman whose main job was to get on CNN and MSNBC and humiliate the sh!t out of them.
But McMaster let Susan Rice keep hers. Got it. Damned traitor. Might have been good commanding tanks. As a policy maker, he’s a traitor.
