Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) blasted President Trump over his pardon of former Maricopa County, Ariz., Sheriff Joe Arpaio on Friday, arguing it "undermines his claim for the respect of rule of law."
[Snip]
McCain's counterpart in the Senate, Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), also criticized Trump's decision to pardon Arpaio on Friday.
[Snip]
"Throughout his time as Sheriff, Arpaio continued his life's work of protecting the public from the scourges of crime and illegal immigration," the White House said.
"Sheriff Joe Arpaio is now eighty-five years old, and after more than fifty years of admirable service to our Nation, he is a worthy candidate for a Presidential pardon."

Yes, my husband was in the AF for 11 years, never lost an airplane and out of the entire time in service and in contact with huge numbers of other pilots, there was only one pilot we knew who crashed. He was a T-38 student pilot flying solo, few too low and went into the side of a mountain. He died, of course.
Hostile, angry, and obnoxious is not the way you want to die when it’s time to meet your Maker.
McLoser knows there are no more elections to won. The mask is totally off now.
McCain's been flaunting the rules his whole life.
Article II, Section 2, Clause 1 of the U.S. Constitution enumerates the power of the President to issue pardons for offenses against the United States. Thus, when a President exercises this power, as enacted in the nation’s Fundamental Law, he is following the rule of law. Duh.
So is McCain:
A) completely demented?
B) after decades as a naval officer and US Senator, somehow unfamiliar with the contents and meaning of the Constitution?
C) unable to draw logical inferences?
D) all of the above?
I meant to say he’s been flouting the rules his whole life.
Sorry about your luck Juan! /s

John McCain committed crimes as a distinguished member of the Keating Five and never got held accountable for his misdeeds. He consorts with America’s enemies without censure. He should shut his hypocritical mouth regarding Arpaio. It’s refreshing, by the way, to see a presidential pardon used as constitutionally intended for a change.
“McCain is shutting down mentally and simply involuntarily antagonistic to the President”
You are giving his disease far too much credit! McCain is a feckless turd who, with his butt boy, Linda Graham, have trashed Trump from the get go. I’m not going to loose a minute’s sleep when he “goes,” I just hope it’s sooner rather than later.
How many more months til Johnny Wetstart sticks his spoon in the wall?
John McCain should be worrying about where he will be spending eternity shortly and not what Trump is doing.
True statement. What if JUAN doesn’t believe in the after life?
McCain has mental issues,....probably dating back to his collusion with the enemy while in the ‘Hanoi Hilton’....
...how were the enemy-supplied prostitutes ‘Songbird’?
It is now obvious, McCain is getting donations in very large amounts from someone who is making money off of illegal aliens or who is counting on their offspring’s votes when those children hit 18. He is benefiting SOMEHOW.
Would not surpsise me in the least if Mcain switches parties before he dies so the governor has to appoint a Dem. Trump needs to have someone ready to be a Dem that can switch parties later. Both sides can play this game.
Its an old English/Irish saying from the 1800’s. It means dying. :-)
