Nice catch on Barker, Saturday. Been wondering about that.
No longer sure how to measure or quantify the effects of the spillover(s). The Piney Point flow meter was my first choice, but it’s up against deep ocean bay, and nothing is really flowing, it’s just sitting and spreading out. Volume of thruput must be off the charts, but they aren’t measuring that, and probably can’t, now.

Saturday may not be true anymore if they upped the Barker discharge to 16,000 cfs as Janetjanet998 reports from a Twitter post. That volume seems greatly over stated as earlier they were talking about a combined two-reservoir release of 8000 cfs. Depending on the inflow rate, that outflow volume may prevent any overtopping at all (just speculating, have no hard info).

At Oroville, the peak inflows spiked to 200 kcfs but only for a period measured in hours. During the rest of the...event..they were down in the 100 kcfs range.

ACE reported that the Addick Barker system reduced peak thruput, during the Tax Day Flood, from 132 kcfs to 8, and that is the only infliw number I have seen.
