I can get on board with that. From the wife of a mediocre quarterback, playing on a lousy team, she has some stones. For the record I am originally from the Detroit area and will always support my Lions no matter how bad they are. I did however not watch any games last season except for the Super Bowl because my cities team was in it to choke out a loss.
C'mon man, the Lions were a playoff team last year and Stafford is generally considered a top 10 quarterback! Yes, the franchise history is lousy since 1957, that is true.
Not a Lions fan, but he's a pretty damn good QB - considering the Lions haven't had a RB rush for 100 yards in any game since 2013.
He carries that team, and he's not a big guy like Rothlisburger or Andrew Luck.
And he's smart enough to marry her!
