It’ like saying “we are not changing a country’s way of thinking, we are just killing the bad ones” during WWII against Germany.
We DID stay after we SLAUGHTERED Germans in numbers we wont COME NEAR in Afghanistan AND the mindset of the vast majority of those folks is backwards and includes killing Christians and Jews.
We’re gonna do what? With 5 or 10k men?
Stay there forever and keep putting out small fires where we can while Afghani soldiers/police kill a dozen of our men every now and then.
And they’re supposed to be HELPING US.
Poppy seed production is through the roof, after the taliban had crushed it before 9/11. I know they are POS, but we need to do the same thing, and we’re not.
