They do make things up, don’t they. Throughout my 70+ years growing up in the south, I’ve been around many, many, statues, and confederate flags...but none have “riled me up” for anything, except the South fought for their rights and beliefs, and deserve to be remembered.

I’m just waiting for these idiots to go after memorials to our fallen men and women military people because you know, those memorials glorify war and should be taken down.
The period in American history known as reconstruction when blacks were given the vote (then restricted after) gets the revisionist treatment or ignored because it doesn’t fit into the socialists agenda which calls for division.
The reason those monuments in question weare placed, honoring men who fought for their cause when after defeat did not continue on. But honors their leaders because they rather chose to accept and support the result to unuify the country
I don’t know why but the organizers of these “protests” and the radical front groups all have been reported to have direct connections to the previous Democrat regime. Why are these facts not being expossed by conservative talk show hosts ?

Well, Jeh, you are partially correct - with many of them being put up by Democrats during the era of Jim Crow (also a Democrat policy) to express just that. Another legacy of the Democrat Party.
