The Stupid burns so bright it hurts..... even in the midst of a total eclipse this politically correct Stupid will continue to burn bright.

In response to protests, Nancy Pelosi introduced a measure to cancel the eclipse.

Actually, the moon would be the racist, wouldn't it?
Or perhaps they are working together. In which case, collusion! No. Wait. Occlusion! Occlusion collusion?

Looks like this so-called writer forgot about the state of South Carolina. The Low Country and Charleston are very black. Columbia, too.

I was hoping that it was satire, but it looks like just a overreaching complaint about everything racial, cultural and political in America. If the eclipse’s path had been different and hit more majority black cities the author would have used that as a reason to write essentially the same article. I bet she talks just like this on non-eclipse days and is a huge amount if fun at parties when she corners her victims with it.

I call it the Trump eclipse as almost every county that the path of totality is in voted for Trump. So Trump voters are being rewarded with a prime view of the eclipse while glum Hillary voters in the big cities end up with nothing to see.
To: TigerClaws
The message of the eclipse therefore is discrimination is good.
Eclipsecal segregation is totally natural and therefore by definition good for America and mankind.

Eclipse: Another great win for Trump. Obama could never do it. But Trump can eclipse the sun.
Tired of winning yet?
Hope people don’t take either science or politics too seriously.

It has been dubbed the Great American Eclipse, and along most of its path, there live almost no black people.
I'd say the black population in South Carolina alone probably outnumbers total population in a lot of the other states that are in the path of the eclipse. So this author's feeble attempt to turn even natural events into something racist falls short.

“The campus Black Lives Matter group has expressed concern also.
Davarius Goldblatt, the BLM leader said The eclipse is an example of natural racism. The darkness is the hope of power for the African people yet it doesnt last and is eventually extinguished by the coming of the light. That is oppression and we will not participate.”
