Exactly! That's why I specified that Columbus' discovery led to the settlement of the continent by Europeans and modern Asians.

One thing I do wonder is why the Asians that came here 16,000 years ago never accomplished much, while the Asians that remained in Asia built civilizations. At some point, they had similar cultures, didn't they?
