We have been big donors for many years. That stopped today! There are consequences for a political eye gouge.

They hide payments in many, many ways. Until the SA releases their financial audits, which they should as a non-profit winning government contracts, no one knows what anyone at the SA makes.

Good for them.

I will send their donation cards back to them with a pic of Mar-A-Lago. They chose their road and I choose mine.

Backing out is puzzling,

No it isn't. They have chosen to alienate the ones that support them. Not to damn hard to figure out.

Our Mission

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

Churches are often incorporated. It is done for liability purposes: only the assets of the church corporation can be held liable. Individual members are not liable for what another member did in case of a lawsuit.

Just found this on bizbash.com (doing some hunting for info on another thread). Some of the charities were ENCOURAGED to leave by the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce!

, a prominent business leader on Palm Beach urged other charitable organizations sticking with Mar-a-Lago to reconsider their commitment to the president’s club. Laurel Baker, executive director of the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce, told those groups and their deep-pocket donors to 'have a conscience' and seek another venue for their events.
