I have personally known officials in both Red Cross and United Way.
Knew them - did not like them one bit.
Flaunted their affluent lifestyles with a thinly veiled sneer
toward those who footed the bill.
The Red Cross will no longer accept donations from Republicans.

I just read the Salvation Army has done the same thing. If that’s true instead of shifting the donations to the Red Cross to the Salvation Army, I’ll just “invest” in a few bottles of 18-year-old single malt and call it a year!

The RC doesn’t need to be bought. They sold out years ago. I expected better from the Cleveland Clinic and SA. If the latter had to be coerced into going along with this, how was it done, with what, by whom?
Organizations who have fallen under the cultist nonsense of the Progressive Movement are, like their cult leaders, the “Progressive” regressives, without a sense of shame or even cognizance of their illiterate behavior or their ethical depravity.
And if the CC and SA weren’t coerced, boy, have we been suckered...

Just went to their website. They have a LBGQXYZ outreach too. Yikes! I thought they were one of the good guys.

I worked with many vets over the years and most of them hated the Red Cross - for many different reasons. Every reason boiled down to the issue that the R.C. cared nothing for the soldiers and did what they did as money grubbers.
The Red Cross is a money raising scam in times of disaster. Having survived two major disasters, a hurricane and a wildfire, we received help from wonderful church groups in clearing our house and lot of debris. The Red Cross came by with a little sack with two cheap tooth brushes, a sample size tube of tooth paste, and a motel-size bar of soap and shampoo. If that’s all they can provide at such a time, someone is misusing the donations that they collect every time there is a well-publicized disaster.
Never will I ever give another cent to the Red Cross.

I had a bad experience with the Red Cross while I was in the Army. F**K ‘em, from a man who DOES curse!
The Red Cross care about little but its board of directors anyway.
