Six Flags Over Texas removes Confederate flag, reversing earlier decision

~snip~

Six Flags Over Texas will remove the Confederate States of America flag from its lineup, and fly only U.S. flags, the company told mySA.com Friday morning following backlash earlier this week.

~snip~

The company flipped its decision Friday morning saying they strive to "make people happy and to create a fun, thrilling and safe family friendly experience for our guests."
"We always choose to focus on celebrating the things that unite us versus those that divide us. As such, we have changed the flag displays in our parks to feature American flags," the park said in a statement.

It will be quickly renamed 5 Flags Over Texas, and the books will be rewritten to prove that it was only 5 flags, and soon it will be remembered that only 5 flags flew over TX.

Interesting isn’t it, how this only mattered the past few years . . .

Why wasn’t it “offensive” in years prior. One sees plenty of blacks at amusement parks. Latinos too. School days etc.

Gee, maybe even a “Gay Day”

But now all of the sudden it’s “offensive” and the feeding frenzy continues

“So disappointed in Texas caving in to the trash.”

Texas did not cave.

An amusement park caved.

So what about the French and Mexican and Spanish flags. Are they gone too.

Will they change the name to 2 Flags Over Texas.

It’s not Texas caving, it’s cowardly businesses scared of losing their “minority customers” and badmouthed by a biased “media”

Meanwhile, Islamic terrorism and racial assassinations of white people carry on . . .

Actually, it’s going to be the ONE Flag Over Texas.

They are removing everything except the US flag.

Cowards. I hope their business plummets.

I stopped going to 6 flags when they started selling liquor out there. Who wants to ride behind a drunk on a roller coaster?

Six flags has teetered on bankruptcy for many years. Pretty sure something like this will sink them for good.

A business generally can’t survive losing 20% of their customers. So doing this knee jerk pc move, just killed them.

It’s going to be flying flags with cats on them. You know, “Pussies over Texas.”
