“Today, with President Trump’s blessing, I ceased to act as special advisor to the President on issues relating to regulatory reform,” Icahn announced, enclosing a copy of the letter he sent to the president to confirm his decision. In it, the billionaire investor revealed that the two agreed that Icahn should leave the post in a conversation that took place earlier today.
