I’ll still be voting for Trump in 2020, but might some people in the industrial states not vote R or D? If Trump doesn’t produce for them (manufacturing jobs & economy being key), it is reasonable to expect some voters saying “it doesn’t matter who wins, we are screwed either way”.

Are you even paying attention to the economic news coming out? Manufacturing is going straight up. Coal by itself is already up 85%, or at least our exports were. There has been nothing but good news out of the economy.

This damn tunnel vision of conservative pisses me off to no end! Oh nooo, sleezy Bannon got the bump, must mean the economy is failing and nothing has gotten done! Oh noooo!

The market is due for a correction, and given how corporate tax cuts have already been factored in, doubling that with Ryan and McConnell managing to thwart Trump again will be a pretty tough hit on the economy going into the 2018 election cycle.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics: “Since reaching a recent low in November 2016, ..., employment in the industry has increased by 100,000.”

This is good. At least a good start. It is an average of about 2,000 jobs per state.

However, my main point remains. Cohn is in the WH and Bannon is out. Economic nationalism lost its main advocate within the WH.

If coal is up 85% why are so many miners still out of work and the Governor of WV is asking for financial support to prop up the mining industry?
