newsweek ^ | Aug 17, 2017 | Elaine C. Kamarck

At some point in 2019 (if not sooner) a Republican Senator may walk into the Oval Office and say to President Trump: “Mr. President, we don’t have the votes,” at which point the Trump presidency will end in a resignation or a conviction in the Senate.

This scenario actually occurred forty-three years ago this summer when Republican Senator Barry Goldwater walked into the Oval Office and told Republican President Richard Nixon that they didn’t have the votes in the Senate to save his presidency.

I thought the House impeached and the Senate convicted - you know the way they did NOT do when it was Clinton.

And an odd fantasy at that, if I were a lib I wouldn’t be hoping for a Mike Pence Presidency. They have blood coming out their whatevers.

this article is based on alinsky rules.

The goal is to plant a seed to see if can be made to fester.

The best step we can take is to fight the alt left media and make advertisers pay the price for paying for this junk.

Cook Political Report has changed a few Senate race rankings

Nevada, Heller downgraded from Lean R to Tossup

The rest are in our favor

Indiana from Lean D to Tossup

Missouri from Lean D to Tossup, it appears AG Hawley is about to get in, McCrapskull is peeing her pants and attacking his residency

West VA from Likely D all the way to tossup

North Dakota from Likely D to Lean D, Rep. Cramer still might get in

The Idea that the Trump presidency could end in less than a full term without civil war is entirely a joke.

I wonder why it took us so long to start saying alt-left, should have using that for a while now.

Of course plenty on our side were keen to make drunk uncle Joe the President, and he was the rats “best” possible 2016 candidate.

Drudge has this under “Trump attacks may leave him friendless if impeachment comes”.

Seems to me he has about 60 million friends who put him in office and if impeachment comes they are going to have to answer to me and the other 59,999,999.

They are actually writing articles about impeaching the president because he “attacked actors and show hosts more than racists”. If attacking celebrities is to be an article of impeachment, this country is finished.

“Trump Is Just Six Senate Votes Away From Impeachment”

For most Americans, life is sacred.

And shooting politicians is the last thing they want to do.

The ones at the end of their lives might think they were being heroic.

That still doesn’t get you to 67 votes. GOP will pick up some Senate seats in the midterms.

yea!!! great news.

in Hartford, liberal stronghold, somebody forgot to tell the local DEM voters why they are supposed to be outraged. they are currently befuddled about the Red Sox removing Yawkey from the street name.

They think this whole thing is kooky.

The Dems are committing midterm suicide with all this race baiting, IMO.

WV, MO, ND, IN and MT are 83%-90%+ white. Race baiting may be a good play in Manhattan and Frisco but is an electoral disaster in fly over country for the Democrats.

It’s beyond outrageous that is acceptable for Senators of his own party to make Trump a punching bag but he is not allowed to respond. Pure Alinsky garbage and it’s good to see POTUS is having none of it.
