Second El Paso. I was 12 when it was released and the song stuck in my head. Never been there, though. “Baltimore” by Randy Newman is another and that’s where I’ve been livin’ for decades. “L.A. Blues” is an instrumental by Bill Frisell and I like it a lot.

That was my pick, too! Great singers, great musicians, great song.

I like the old musicals:

“Gary, Indianna” from The Music Man

“Snow” from White Christmas (OK, it isn’t about a city but the ramp up to the song is dialog about Vermont and “all that snow”—gotta think cool thoughts these days!)

Howdy, radu!

Missed ya last night and good to see you tonight! Hope it was a good day there! Is it still hot and muggy? Are the kitties all fine and dandy?

Was here. Quiet...just like I like it. :) No rain yet but there are some thunderheads to the west of us, so there’s hope. :)
