I have ZERO love for the Confederacy, the opposite in fact, but it's psychotic attitudes like this that's driving this Neo-Confederate popularity, even in the North.

I have a very close friend who is a descendent of Nathan Bedford Forrest. (I actually looked into this, and it checks out).
Needless to say, this is a pretty complicated legacy.
