Can't blame me because I'm a northern man transplanted to the south. Even though I have studied under some decent role models here and have read Chronicles since the 80's I am still very much incomplete.

I do undestand from practical common sense that standing in front of a statue while there are police snipers on adjacent roofs is not militarily defendable. But I also know that defending the homestead with the confederate flag on the front porch is too easy. There needs to be a middle ground where we are effective but don't get slaughtered (again). Also the soldiers have to have the backing of the people. We have you, but what about the rest? We need the majority or we are guaranteed to lose.

It all boils down to a need to win hearts and minds. That's why Trump points out the unfairness in the media (along with their unhinged hostility). The brainwashed people have to see (and be told) how evil the other side is. Otherwise they just change the channel and veg out some more.

I’m not blaming you. The South is a whole different way of being, of living, of thinking, or at least it used to be. Now it’s full of fk boys listening to fake country music riding around in d*ck trucks with lift kits wearing skinny jeans. That’s why the monuments are being torn down, there’s no real southern men who wouldn’t dare put up with this shit left anymore.
