I don't understand the point you are making. What is the "it" that you are referring to? The Confederacy? By attacking the Confederacy they are making it the Confederacy a racial issue? That makes no sense.

They’re making Trump and Trump voters appear to be racists. Don’t you think it’s strange that all of a sudden “they” want the Confederacy erased? They figured out that there are just as many racists as there are BLM. So Trump speaks the truth about who’s violent and he’s called a racist. And they know that the one thing the Republicans are most afraid of is being called a racist.
