The U.S. Embassy in Lebanon has announced that President Donald Trump’s administration has delivered military equipment to the Hezbollah-linked Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF), namely Bradley Fighting Vehicles. “It will provide the Lebanese Armed Forces with new capabilities to protect Lebanon, to protect its borders, and to fight terrorists,” declared Elizabeth Richard, the U.S. ambassador to Lebanon, referring to the U.S.-supplied military vehicles. “Over the next several months, the Army will undergo intensive training on how to operate and maintain this new, very sophisticated combat system.”

“I am pleased to once again demonstrate our long-term commitment to Lebanon, and our support long term to the Army — and only the army— as it fights terrorism and defends the borders of this country,” added the chief at the American embassy, a component of the U.S. State Department.

Her comments came Monday at the Port of Beirut, where the U.S. delivered the Bradley Fighting Vehicles and armored field artillery ammunition supply vehicles to the armed forces of Lebanon.

This week alone, the U.S. provided eight M2A2 Bradley Fighting Vehicles, the first of a total shipment of 32 expected to reach the Lebanese military in the coming months.

Hopefully we've installed 50 pounds of C4 inside the things, that can be detonated by satellite command.

But that prolly only happens in the movies...

Pres. Trump, for whatever reason, turned US foreign policy and the military over to the usual Deep State Council on Foreign Relations crowd who want the State of Israel to go away.

...Lebanon is the fifth largest recipient of American military aid, receiving $220 million in 2016, including an August shipment that included 50 armored vehicles. If the M113s, or any other weapons, were transferred to Hezbollah, the State Department is obliged to notify Congress. Indeed, even if the APCs are part of a U.S. package from an earlier period, it still requires notification...

Insanity is repeating the same foreign policies but expecting different results. I guess there is money to be made selling the tools of the trade.

Sure, there is money to be made.
But at some point our young American soldiers will be killed by this same equipment.

Given the Stryker's performance in Iraq, we won't have to.

They’re suicide boxes. Imagine if an Israeli Tank unloads on one. The ragheads in aluminum box are dead.

After four Americans were murdered in Benghazi, President Obama shipped armored vehicles, ammunition and night vision equipment to Libya.

This material was stored in an unguarded warehouse.

Somehow, this material was stolen.

Oopsie!
