they are not American citizens...they are not automatic American citizens...
under the Constitution, they do not qualify...their own parents fault...
Even Mexico claims them as Mexican citizens...
Under current US law (8 U.S.C. § 1401), they are American citizens at birth. It is called birthright citizenship. If they present their US birth certificate, they will receive a US passport. That is the reality on the ground under the laws of this country.
