That's the number of hate groups operating in the US, according to data from the Southern Poverty Law Center. The Alabama-based nonprofit activist group tracks civil rights and hate crimes and defines a hate group as an organization with "beliefs or practices that attack or malign an entire class of people, typically for their immutable characteristics."

I see in Pennsylvania Altra Firearms is listed as a “hate group.” I bought my first handgun there several months ago so I must be part of a “hate group” or maybe just a supporter. ;)
Is the SPLC listed on that site?
Wyoming is hate-free?
There are a lot of organizations who attack and malign One Group, and One Group only, by characterizing that One Group as Privileged Oppressors.
FWIW, from wiki:
Wolves of Vinland is a Norse neopagan group based in the outskirts of Lynchburg, Virginia. Matthias Waggener has described the group as an “Odinic Wolfcult”.

The SPLC’s judgement is so awful that they listed Dr. Ben Carson as a hate group.
They are all idiot savants who only know how to raise more money.
lol thats weird as they list is under Wyo...
must be about like most of these “groups” with about 9 or 10 idiots in them..
the SPLC IS a hate group!
I haven’t heard of most of these groups and I wonder what their size is in numbers of members. I also wonder how they define hate. The SPLC is not known for their truthfulness.
The most violent of hate groups aren’t listed.
The Democratic Party (spew hate 24/7)
The Clinton mafia (how many murders have they racked up?)
Antifa (The European anarchists in America)
Black Lives Matter (highly racist))
