Wasn’t Teddy Roosevelt one of the earliest progressives?

Yes, Teddy was an early “progressive”. He was also quite racist, sharing that with Woodrow Wilson, another early “progressive”.

Teddy was definitely a pro-American progressive, while Wilson was trending toward internationalism, but still mostly pro-American.

Today’s “progressives” are definitely *not* pro-American. They see America as an impediment to their globalist impulses.

Not only that, but his father was a charter member of the Union League Club who pushed the Northern cause of anti slavery. However, his uncle was James Dunwoody who was a confederate agent in London during the Civil War so I guess Teddy's got to go....

He was. In fact the formal name of the Bull Moose Party on which Teddy Roosevelt ran for President in 1912 is the Progressive Party.

But the Left accuses him of being a colonialist and an imperialist. So he’s gotta go!

If you recall Obama especially hates western colonialism. Which oughta give a clue as to who is helping drive this leftwing taliban effort.
