Well, you can. That’s not why the Southern states were leaving. Heck, the Confederacy didn’t even want to fight. They wanted to be left alone to rule themselves. EXACTLY as the colonies did. Keep talking in circles all you want...it doesn’t make you right...just silly.

That's what the Southerners of the time gave as the reason for leaving.

Heck, the Confederacy didn’t even want to fight.

They had an odd and trigger-happy way of showing it.

They wanted to be left alone to rule themselves. EXACTLY as the colonies did.

Except the colonists knew they would have to fight their way out.

I seem to be taking a pretty straight path as I see it.
