Forensics shows that the DNC computer was NOT hacked from the outside. Instead somebody downloaded from the inside onto flash drive. How do they know? The bitrate of retrieval was much too fast to have happened via an outside hack. Even leftwing magazines The Nation and Slate have admitted to this recently.

Your statement is correct.

But, as I recall, the bitrate in question was something like 25 Mbps. If so, that seems like a perfectly valid download speed to me.

What am I missing?

I think the question is whether the transmission rate was presented as Mbps (megabits per second) or MBps (mebabytes per second).

I also seem to remember reading something about the timestamp for the files being posted in Eastern time, which would mean it was downloaded on the east coast of the U.S.

This post requires our consideration.......the more you think about it......

(HAT TIP HangThemHigh) It looks to me more like Obama tried to have the Russians hack the 2016 election. But the cunning Russians scammed Obama.....taking Obama's payoff but doing nothing.

.......I'd say H/T/H is onto something .......

(HAT TIP HangThemHigh) Obama's pathetic inaction says to me he intended the Russians to help Hillary..... hence the outrage when they did nothing. To Obama, it sure looked like the Ruskis helped Trump b/c Hillary lost, and w/ it, Obama lost his chance at a third term.

Heh...betcha the half/caste Royal Idiot is seething.

That's good. B/c he'll make some missteps and get himself nailed.

“Investigators found that 1,976 megabytes of data were downloaded locally on July 5, 2016. The information was downloaded with a memory key or some other portable storage device. The download operation took 87 seconds — meaning the speed of transfer was 22.7 megabytes per second — “a speed that far exceeds an internet capability for a remote hack,” as Lawrence puts it. What’s more, they say, a transoceanic transfer would have been even slower (Guccifer claimed to be working from Romania).”
