Lots of accounts from left right and all in between. Show the violence was, just as trump says, on both sides.

Unless I’m missing something, I don’t see anything about the Antifa crowd having a permit also.

Each side blames the other for starting the trouble. What a surprise. </sarcasm>

President Trump could say “I LOVE AMERICA..and Neo Nazi’s are EVIL” and the media would say “Did you hear that, Trump just said he loves Nazi’s”

Who’s instigating taking these statues down in the first place?

All evil roads lead back to George Soros.

Antifa was using violence in a deliberate attempt to provoke violence in return -- which worked all too well. Failure to condemn that makes you a hypocrite at best, and an accessory after the fact at worst.

Unite The Right had a permit to protest. There was no violence at their protest until Antifa showed up to provide it.

Antifa had no permit to protest, so their protest was illegal.

When violence occurs pursuant to committing a crime, you are legally liable for it -- even if you didn't do it yourself.

Antifa violated Federal law:

18 U.S. Code § 241 - Conspiracy against rights:

If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same; or

If two or more persons go in disguise on the highway, or on the premises of another, with intent to prevent or hinder his free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege so secured—

They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.

And the city of Charlottesville did also:

18 U.S. Code § 242 - Deprivation of rights under color of law:

Whoever, under color of any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom, willfully subjects any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or to different punishments, pains, or penalties, on account of such person being an alien, or by reason of his color, or race, than are prescribed for the punishment of citizens, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if bodily injury results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include the use, attempted use, or threatened use of a dangerous weapon, explosives, or fire, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.

The Democrats won.

The rally was cancelled.

When a team wins a game, do they then attack the other team?

In court, does the winner in a civil trial then go over and attack the other lawyer?

No.

The Democrats won and then attacked the people leaving the rally.

It’s the Democrats that started this one.

AFTER THEY WON!

Who started it? I surmise that the NWO ruling elite and George Soros indirectly started it by their control of Governor Terry McCaulif and the leftist and RINO establishment political class

The celebratory riot was an hour and a half old when the car strike occurred.

Very true. We don’t actually *know* that he intended to run anyone over. I remember see something a couple of days ago where someone on /pol/ actually calculated his rate of speed (using distances determined via landmarks from the videos) and found that when he was going down that street, he was going 22 mph, which is less than the posted limit (25 mph). He might well have panicked when bats started hitting his car, which many people would, frankly.

Case in point. Back in the 1990s at the advent of the first Gulf War,the little town a few miles from me,Bell Vernon,Pa. held a pro-war Parade. Me and my family attended. Lots of biker Nam vets and other service members. About three bus loads of anti war folks showed up. The State Police would not let them off the buses and turned them all around and made them leave. This (or something like this) could have been done, but wasn't. Why? We all know why.

Let’s see what happens in Phoenix on Tuesday. AZ is an open carry state so there could be lots of armed citizens. Antifa and Blm were active at the rally’s during the election and probably will turn out again. Plus the dreamers. What a mix.

Where are the videos?

I would imagine that they are in the hands of officials who will be investigating/sweeping under the rug ... whichever ultimately may be the case. They are evidence either way. Don’t expect them to be publicly available.

That said, that the authorities were sure to take videos may mean someone anticipated that their assess might need covering, and not just that they were being prudent. By this I mean that “prudence” may become “prudent” only under certain lawyer related circumstances and it is quite likely that even if local officials didn’t think there would be a fracas that they still wanted to protect themselves from random lawsuits.

One of the things the LA Times probably knows — but isn’t widely reported — is that some state law enforcement agencies list AntiFa as a domestic terrorist organization. They’d be wise to steer clear of any association with them.

Obama....This started when that southern nutcase punk shown with the confederate flag shot about 6 people in a church.

Then there was the aftermath of "hands up...don't shoot" crap. Everything black was supported by Obama.

We may never know, but I think that if I put mind to it, I could’ve caused a lot more damage than he did that day.
