Trump's Press Conference Leaves Reporters 'Shaken,' 'Rattled'

Independent Journal Review (IJR) collected a few unintentionally hilarious Twitter responses from journalists who reported being shaken by President Donald Trump’s aggressiveness in an extraordinary press conference Tuesday that was centered on questions about the weekend’s violence at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Vanity Fair reporter Gabriel Sherman was actually physically ill: “I am totally rattled by that presser. Chest tight, stomach queasy. Feel sick”:

Perhaps he should have his testosterone checked. It seems seriously depleted. But then, he does write for Vanity Fair.

Magazine editor David Lytle tweeted his empathy for Sherman: “I vomited on election night. Today, I bawled for 20 minutes. The stress and anxiety brought on by a threatening president is overwhelming”:

NBC’s Chuck Todd reportedly said on the air that the press conference gave him “the wrong kind of chills.”

“Honestly I’m a bit shaken by what I just heard, and I suspect it’s not just me,” he added.

Yahoo News editor Garance Franke-Ruta accused the President of “defending the nighttime white supremacist protest at UVA with torches”

CNN’s Brian Stelter echoed this concern, saying that “Trump risks sounding like a spokesman for the Unite the Right rally right now”

Trump claimed that “both sides” were to blame for the violence in Charlottesville, meaning the white supremacists and the “alt-left” radicals. That fair and balanced approach wasn’t what the left-leaning media wanted to hear.

Any “normal thinking” person who actually listened to that news conference would appreciate the reality of what DT was saying. The attempt to make this something that it wasn’t is ludicrous. This is why clear thinking patriots support DT. He’s one of us. No bullshit, just rationally explain what occurred. How anyone could complain about what he said and how how he said it...is bewildering but not surprising.

Well, he was expecting questions on the topic at hand and the “journalists” took advantage and thought they’d catch him unprepared.

He proved he was prepared for their gotcha questions, even when they asked the same question over and over.

Now we see he also proved them to be bigger crybabies than we thought.

I listened and then watched again, the impromptu Press Conference yesterday, and personally saw NOTHING combative, not even close to what the PRESS was dishing out to our President.
He just SPOKE THE TRUTH, and they couldn’t handle it.

This is kinda in the same vein. Me and the Mrs. were watching "Americas Got Talent" live show last night. She likes some of the singers and I like the Dancing Trump impersonator. At the end of his little dance number (Hammertime)the four judge panel critiqued his performance. Howie Mandel went off on the Trump guy like he WAS Trump and yelled:"what you said today is a LIE..." The music came on and cut to commercial. The look on the Trump dancers face was priceless! Me and my wife looked at each other and said that's it,no more for us. The loony left is really becoming unhinged.

This is just how we like them. Desperate. They are literally pulling out all the stops and when they do they make mistakes that can expose them as the corrupt liars that they are. Conservatives don’t need to be shown what frauds the left are, but middle ground folks that decide elections might get an ear and eyeful. My prayers are that these desperate tactics result in the opposite effect the left means and marginalizes them for years to come.
