Robert E. Lee Memorial in Brooklyn to Be Taken Down
New York Post ^ | August 15, 20 | Chris Perez

The South isn’t the only place where Confederate monuments still exist.

New Yorkers need only look to Brooklyn — where a plaque honoring Gen. Robert E. Lee has been affixed to a maple tree outside a church for more than 100 years.

It won’t remain there for long, though.

Baltimore removed statues in the middle of the night.
What gives any one person the power to remove the property of the city and citizens without even considering the people they serve?
This is pure thuggery. It wont stop here. It didn’t stop with the removal of the 10 Commandments.
This is not about slavery or Southern Generals triggering snowflakes..its about hating YOU. The Conservative.
The minority faction (commies) in this country cannot win on ideas alone. They have to resort to violence and thuggery.
If they don’t get what they want, they destroy.
Without God, their morals mean nothing.

Former Slave Booker T. Washington, alleged that BOTH WHITES & BLACKS were harmed by the detrimental effects of the institution of slavery. He describes an alcoholic white man who fell apart after the emancipation of the slaves who reared him being cared for very tenderly by these former slaves. One slave walking across state lines on foot to repay his former master some $30-it was about honor.
How far we have fallen.

Sorry, not buying that a bit.

What we have here has gone far beyond your old fashioned Communism, and I do agree Communism can look like this too, but this is not simply Communism.

This is Hitlarian. Yes they’re both Leftist, but this is way beyond mere Communism.

This has progressed into a brown shirt scourge of anything wholesome. We are mirroring the days when the NAZIs were solidifying their power.

The political correctness dynamic is exactly what happened in the early days of the Third Reich.

I would submit Obama was Islamic more than Communist. He had no loyalty to Communism. He did have a marked loyalty to Islam and it’s world view. He sought to firmly root the United States in that reality and failed for the most part.

Trump came in and dismantled quite a bit of it.

Soros directed much of the dynamics behind the scenes with Obama, but his goals were more dead set on destroying rather than setting up something new. In time I’m sure he’d like to have done that, but he hadn’t gotten that far yet.

Soros was more than happy to work with Islam as evidenced in Tunisia, Lybia, and other place in the Middle East.

It’s amazing how many nations his foundation is located in.

Soros is a one man foreign policy master. He should be charged with acting in a quasi government capacity, which is against the law. He’s not our Secretary of State, an official diplomat, or anything else legit.

And then what...?

On to the next thing. Removing “offensive” books...works of art....and on and on...until those who disagree or are deemed objectionable, start disappearing.

History does repeat itself. You’re seeing the beginnings of it.

My main point is that nobody but nobody grasps the actions of the Stalinist days. People do have a fair grasp of the NAZIs and Hitler’s Germany.

While you do understand the Stalinist period, the public at large doesn’t. At least that’s my take.

Yes, they are both Leftist. I am not convinced Stalin and Hitler were pushing the same plan, and you seem to agree that these were Leftist efforts with differences, each wanting to wrestle control of power. I’m not trying to equate the two going head to head, but different Leftist movements as you described.

While I do see problems with corporations, I don’t always see them as evil. Some large projects are facilitated by the corporate environment. I also see some decent aspects of the Chamber of Commerce, but I do see some big problems with both these types of entities as well. There are some, no doubt. As for insurance companies, notice that a number of them are dropping out of Obamacare. I’m not convinced the perception of insurance companies and how they fit into all this, is entirely focused as well as it should be.

Yes, the Left does want to force it’s agenda on us. That’s one facet that causes us to realize traditional Right is not nearly as different than the Left in many respects. They are just as happy to force us into things aren’t they.

Your thoughts on homosexuality and peripheral issues, the Left’s attempt to garner power in that segment of our society, is accurate. Of course race is the other segment they do their best to manipulate. I do think some folks are waking up to these types of things.

I agree with the thoughts related to Bannon, Gorka, and Miller, and would expand them to address Trump and any other person in that work group.
I think the Left will move on to purges. You aren’t going to stop thinking what you do, and they won’t stop pushing until those thoughts are crimes, and they will force issues upon you to out you. If they try to move your kids into the homosexual life-style, are you going to allow it for your personal safety? They simply WILL NOT allow the Right to live in peace.

I agree with your thoughts that the Left killed more people than the NAZIS, but this is where the Leftist ideology comes along. They all get to the point they have to kill non-believers. We know this because we are familiar with Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Hitler, and others. We have seen what these groups always wind up doing.

Now, do today’s kids or even some of their parents grasp the dynamics around Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot? I don’t think so, so for me it’s a misguided effort to try to warn of the antics associated with them.

People are relatively familiar with Hitler. That’s not to say we shouldn’t do our best to education people to at least grasp the dynamics surrounding these others, and it helps for folks to grasp how these efforts always turn out. Millions of people, even tens of millions of people die.

That’s where this effort will wind up too. It always does with these types of efforts. That’s one of the things these people don’t want others to know, even if they do, which many of them don’t. The U.S. is unusual in that it’s revolution bettered the status of the average man. There were no multi-million humans slaughtered. Government was limited, and the people were placed in the power position.

So as these idiots today trash our system, they trash the system that protects the individual citizen more than in any other nation.

I would submit China is on the verge of melting down now. Their debt is catastrophic. They are totally dependent on commerce with us to keep them afloat. I agree with your thoughts about Communism.

Islam is a cancer. Pulling it in is suicide.

Thanks for the comments.

I agree. It’s an illegal activity, paying people to riot and attack others in public, destroy property.

Why Sessions or someone else hasn’t stood up on this issue is beyond me.

The Clintons, Soros, others on the Left get a complete free pass.

I’m not into purges, but I am into law and order and we need to step up and get things back on track.

The Emancipation Proclamation wasn’t lofted until near the end of the war, when Lincoln was having a near impossible time of financing the war effort.
...
That’s quite a revealing bit of history, about a war that was supposedly fought to end slavery.

A document that freed slaves in states that he had no legal control over, while not freeing the slaves in states that stayed in the Union. He didn't try very hard to fight slavery. And, he wasn't a supporter of equal rights either.

We learn from our mistakes. And those making mistakes sometimes have some valid points too.

The study of these dynamics help us to avoid future problems.

Sanitizing our political environment is politically unhealthy.

They have complete dominance in the arena of propaganda. Witness the smarmy Republicans responding to Mr. Trump’s statemet of self-evident truth. They aren’t going to screw it up by doing something more than symbolic crap, like statues.

In our present predicament, arresting and charging Soros would end Antifa and BLM instantly.

Freeze his accounts and each of his corporate entities that are involved in illegal activity, on our soil and foreign soil.

Tell universities to get back to political parity or lose government funds. Warn university personnel that the feds will be swooping in to charge single people and groups on campus with racism, if this anti-White nonsense continues.

There are things we can do to fix this quickly.

I would also put the Justice Department on the trail of lying corporate news organizations.

Start bringing people up on charges related to slander and attempts to destroy people and their livelihood.

I believe that is a reasoned charge.

I think much of it is open to serious debate even today.

The Civil War is a much more important event than most folks think it was. It wasn’t simply about Slavery. There are states right issues that are valid.

There are dynamics at play between loyalist states and the Confederate ones.

We spend too little time discussing these issues, but they are valid points to ponder.

So the plaque is to be removed and it is there because Lee personally planted the tree. Unless they uproot it or chop it down it is still substantially his tree.
